Whatcom County Public Works is hosting three virtual workshops this month to help water users prepare for adjudication.
It comes after the Washington State Department of Ecology mailed claim forms to landowners in March for the process that will legally determine who has water rights.
Aspect Consulting, a water rights consultant, will offer demonstrations and answer questions about the process during the hour-long sessions. Each of the workshops are limited to 50 households and anyone interested needs to register in advance.
Ecology is also hosting two in-person open houses in Ferndale and Lynden later this month.
