WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A new way to track public health data from around the county is now available.

The county launched its Whatcom Community Health Insights dashboard on July 16.

It is a website that shows local statistics on a range of topics including county demographics, health care, education, housing security, drug use and water quality. The website lists over 100 health indicators reported by more than 20 data sources.

The county says it created the resource to make the numbers more accessible to the public and support community leaders in their decision making. It also says that the site will continue to expand and eventually specify the data by geographic area.
