BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A number of local breweries brought home hardware at the 2025 Washington Beer Awards on Monday, Nov. 3.

Larrabee Lager Company, last year’s winner for Small Brewery of the Year, won medals for their Munich Helles and German Pilsner.

Kulshan Brewing won three awards including a Gold for their Kulshan Especial Mexican lager.

North Fork Brewery, which is now Whatcom County’s oldest brewery, won two awards including a Gold for Batch 96 in the Wood and Barrel Aged Beer category.

Other Bellingham area winners include Aslan Brewing, Wander Brewing, Otherlands Beer and Beach Cat Brewing.

The big winner this year was a beloved Skagit County spot.

Garden Path Fermentation took home six medals including two Golds and was also named Very Small Brewery of the Year.

KGMI previously reported Garden Path closed their Great Northern Bottle Shop and Lounge in downtown Bellingham last April, but they continue to produce and sell award-winning beer, cider, wine and mead at their location next to the Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington.

Also at this year’s awards, Mari and Will Kemper from Chuckanut Brewery were inducted into the Washington Brewers Guild Hall of Fame
