BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two Bellingham men have been arrested in connection to a narcotics investigation.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office says that their Regional Drug Task Force identified the suspects as drug runners for a supplier in Federal Way.

Investigators were granted a search warrant for a Federal Way home earlier this month, where they seized over 30 pounds of fentanyl-laced pills.

22-year-old Alfio Felix Rivera was arrested and booked into the Whatcom County Jail.

The Regional Drug Task Force served additional search warrants on two Bellingham properties on Tuesday.

That warrant led to the arrest of 26-year-old Omar Gaona Garcia and 23-year-old Jorge Ramos.

Investigators believe the suspects’ activities are tied to a criminal organization based out of Mexico.
