BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Costco has issued a recall for certain cheeses sold in our region.

Tillamook’s 32 oz twin-pack of Colby Jack and Monterey Jack cheese slices were recalled after discovering small black and grey plastic pieces in some of the products.

The recall pertains to any purchases made between May 9 and May 31. This product – listed as item number 651195 – has a “best by” date of Oct. 22, 2024, and was exclusive to Costco’s Northwest Region.

Tillamook issued a statement earlier this month requesting purchasers to refrain from consumption and return the cheese for a full refund. They added that you do not need to take action if you have already eaten the cheese without problems.
