BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Get your sewing needles ready, as a popular spot in downtown Bellingham for fabric projects will be reopening next month.

Ragfinery has announced their reopening date at their new Unity Street location.

The store and workshop ran by local non-profit ReUse Works moved locations from N. Forest Street to the arts district after a fire damaged their building last winter. The Ragfinery plans to reopen their doors to the public on Jan. 2 according to a social media post.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that Executive Director Kate Sturgis forecasted an opening ahead of this winter, but their new space needed to be renovated prior to reopening.

The store provides reused fabric and clothing items for sewing projects as well as sewing classes for locals among other community needs.
