FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A pair of Ferndale businesses are preparing to close their doors for good.

The owners of Outlaws Saloon announced in late August that they’re hanging up their hats in the near future.

Their Main Street location has been operating for over 14 years.

An official closure date has not yet been announced, but owner Jamie Ford encouraged customers to stop by to make some final memories and help clear out their inventory.

A short distance down the road, Griffintown’s Cozy Corner Books is selling off the last of its inventory before shutting down this Saturday.

The store has been holding clearance sales since late August, with prices ranging from a quarter to a dollar for books and steep discounts for furniture and decor.

Griffintown’s owners said that they’re shutting down the business because their lease extension is up and they’ve decided to retire.
