BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Roadwork on I-5 in Bellingham may cause delays for your commute this week.

The right lane of northbound I‑5 will close overnight Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15 for maintenance between Lakeway Drive and the Guide Meridian as crews mow along the freeway.

Tuesday night, the closure runs north of Iowa Street to the Guide Meridian. Wednesday night, the right lane closes at Lakeway Drive and the Lakeway Drive on‑ramp will also be closed.

Closures begin at 9 p.m. both nights.

Tuesday night’s work wraps up at 5 a.m. Wednesday, and Wednesday night’s closure lasts until 6 a.m.Thursday.

Expect delays and consider alternate routes, especially with other overnight I‑5 closures south of Bellingham still in place.
