WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Online access to Whatcom County’s court system is still down following a network outage.

Whatcom County Superior Court says the outage, which MBN first reported on Nov. 4, was caused by “unauthorized activity” on the Washington Courts network.

According to Washington Courts, there is no evidence that any court or personal data has been affected during the outage.

The online outage has rendered electronic services like court record searches, filing and payment processing temporarily unavailable. In-person services, such as paper document filing, emergency order processing and access to physical court records remain available.

The county clerk’s office and administration office are still open during regular business hours. The county expects the outage to last throughout the week.
