BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Northwest Tune-Up, the annual bike and music festival at the Bellingham Waterfront, has announced the performers for this year’s three-day event on July 11 to 13.
According to Hunter Motto, the festival’s Music Director, this year’s themes are dance, rock and unstoppable groove. The “genre-spanning” lineup features popular acts in the indie, alt-rock and hip-hop genres.
The first day of the festival features headliner STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9), a group known for their instrumental live shows and a “genre-defying” blend of funk, jazz and electronic music. Earlier in the day, performances from HARBOUR, iconic hip-hop group The Pharcyde, Nashville-based The SteelDrivers and Chet Faker will be taking the stage.
Los Angeles-based indie rockers Silversun Pickups are the headliners on night two following a day of music from The 4411, TEKE::TEKE, Brother Ali and The 502s.
Previous years of the event had three nights of music, starting on Friday and ending on Sunday night. This year, Northwest Tune-Up is consolidating their musical performances to just Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12.
At this time, there is no word on any Bellingham-based performers on this year’s lineup. In 2024, Bellingham’s own Petty or Not played an evening set at the festival, celebrating the music of Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac.
In between all the music will be bike races, demos, stunt shows and community events in the area.
Tickets are on sale now and early bird three-day passes end on Monday, March 31.
