The Seahawks could soon be under new ownership after their Super Bowl run.
ESPN reports that the Seahawks will go up for sale after Super Bowl 60. Sources told the outlet that sale discussions have taken place at ownership and league levels for at least the past week.
But the Seattle Times reports that a statement made through the Paul G. Allen Estate refuted that the team is currently for sale and said there is no news to report.
It comes after years of questions about when the team would seek new ownership following the 2018 death of Allen, its former owner. His sister, Jody, has controlled the Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers with a directive from her late brother to eventually sell both and donate the proceeds to charity.
One team executive told ESPN that the Seahawks could fetch $7 billion to $8 billion.
Kraken News
The Kraken are hitting the road on a high note.
They capped off their homestand with a 5-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. Shane Wright scored twice to help the Kraken win their third straight match.
They’ll now travel to Sin City to kick off a five-game road trip against the Golden Knights tomorrow.

Mariners News
The Mariners just lost one of their starting pitchers for the rest of the year.
The team announced today that Logan Evans will miss the entire 2026 season after getting Tommy John surgery last week. He started 15 games in his rookie season last year, going 6-5 with a 4.32 ERA while filling in for an injured starting rotation.
The Mariners’ preseason activities are nearly here, with pitchers and catchers reporting on Feb. 12.

Western basketball split their pair of games last night.
The men topped Alaska Anchorage 84-75 at Carver Gym. Junior guard Nehemiah Pollard led the team with 26 points, while crossing the 1,000 point mark for his college career.
The Viks will look to win their third straight when they host Alaska Fairbanks tomorrow night, tipoff is at 5:00.
The women weren’t able to do the same, they fell to Saint Martin’s 56-48. Junior guard Libby Stump scored a game-high 22 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Saints snapped an 11-game losing streak against the Vikings.
The Western women now fall into a three-team tie for second place in the GNAC standings alongside Saint Martin’s and Northwest Nazarene. They’ll look to rebound tomorrow night when they continue their road trip against Western Oregon.
Meanwhile, the UW Huskies men fell to 9th nationally ranked Illinois last night 75-66. It was their fourth loss in five games, all coming against ranked opponents.

The Sehome girls topped Bellingham 41-24.
The Sehome boys followed with a 65-55 win over the Bayhawks to sweep their Bellinghome rivalry night.
The Ferndale girls blew past Blaine 66-29.
The Ferndale boys added a 74-53 win over the Borderites.
The Mount Baker girls lost to Lakewood 76-43.
And the Baker boys also fell to Lakewood 71-65.
