Mariners News

The Mariners have the division lead after sweeping the Athletics this afternoon.

The M’s topped the A’s 9-1 in West Sacramento to complete the series sweep and take hold of first place in the AL West.

Julio Rodriguez and Rob Refsnyder each homered and Colt Emerson drove in two runs with his first big-league triple to highlight the offensive explosion.  Logan Gilbert backed them up with six innings of shutout ball to earn the win.

Seattle now has a half-game lead over the Athletics in the division after winning their third straight.

The M’s have the day off tomorrow before returning home for a three-game weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Seahawks News

The Seahawks made their first trade of the offseason in an effort to bolster their special teams squad.

Seattle sent a 2028 conditional seventh-round pick to the New York Jets today in exchange for Irvin Charles. The 29-year-old receiver hasn’t caught a pass in his brief two-year career, but logged nearly 450 special teams snaps with the Jets, totaling 13 tackles over that span.

Charles tore his ACL late in the 2024 season, which also forced him to miss the entire 2025 season.

According to ESPN Analytics, the Seahawks had the NFL’s top-ranked special teams unit last season.

Storm News

The Storm are back tonight with a chance to win their third straight game.

They’re hosting the Washington Mystics for the second time in four days.

The Storm won their recent matchup on Sunday by 12 points behind a career-high 24 points from Natisha Hiedeman. It was also the debut of third overall pick Awa Fam, who scored 10 points in 20 minutes.

After winning just one of their first five games to start the WNBA season, the Storm now have a chance to pick up their third straight win and bring their record to an even 4-4.

Tonight’s game tips off at 7:00 from Climate Pledge Arena.

NHL/NBA Playoffs News

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are heating up with a big Game 4 tonight.

The Montreal Canadiens are looking to even up their East Final series as they host the Carolina Hurricanes. Montreal won the first game of the series, but has since lost the last two matches in overtime by a single goal.

It comes as the Vegas Golden Knights booked their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final last night with a 2-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche to complete the sweep.

Over in the NBA Playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the San Antonio Spurs 127-114 last night to take a 3-2 lead in the West Finals. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 32 points to bring OKC within one game of a second straight trip to the finals.

The Spurs will look to even up the series tomorrow night in San Antonio for Game 6, with the New York Knicks awaiting the victor.
