Bells News

The Bellingham Bells are ringing in the 2025 season with their home opener tonight. The Bells return to Bellingham after taking two out of their three weekend games against the Nanaimo NightOwls. They’re now hosting the Kamloops NorthPaws, who are coming off a sweep of Port Angeles.

Tickets to tonight’s game are half off and the first 300 fans will receive a special opening day pin. First pitch is at 6:35 from Joe Martin Field.

Mariners News

The Mariners are looking to carry over momentum from a walk-off filled weekend into tonight’s series-opener against the Baltimore Orioles. The M’s have a chance to win their third straight tonight against an Orioles club that owns one of the worst records in the league. Baltimore made the playoffs with 90+ wins in each of the past two seasons, but fired its manager two weeks ago after a rocky start to the year.

George Kirby will look to shake the dust off after struggling in his first two starts since coming off the injured list. He could give the Mariners some much-needed breathing room in the AL West, with the Astros sitting just half a game behind. Coverage begins at 5:30 and first pitch is at 6:40 on KPUG.

NBA/NHL News

The finals are set in both the NBA and the NHL. In the NHL, the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers are facing off in a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Final. Game One takes place tomorrow evening in Edmonton with the defending champion Panthers looking to play spoiler

In the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to cap off a historic season against an upstart Indiana Pacers squad. The Thunder are one of just four teams in NBA history to reach 80 wins before the Finals. They’re led by league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Meanwhile, the Pacers find themselves in their first Finals since 2000 after upsetting the Cavaliers and Knicks in the East. You can catch Game One in OKC this Thursday on KPUG.

Storm News

The Storm have a chance to cap their rough homestand off on a high note tonight. They’re hosting the Dallas Wings, who own the worst record in the WNBA. The Wings will be without No. 1 overall pick Paige Bueckers, who was placed in concussion protocol last week. She’ll be reevaluated after tonight’s game.

The Storm will look to snap their three-game losing streak, with the most recent two coming at home. Tonight’s game tips off at 6:30 from Climate Pledge.

Seahawks News

The Seahawks are celebrating a massive milestone by honoring their most legendary players. The team is celebrating its 50th anniversary by unveiling the top 50 players in Seahawks history over the course of this week. So far, 30 players have been revealed.

The list includes older legends like safety John Harris and cornerback Dave Brown, recent standouts like Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman and even a current star in Devon Witherspoon. The Top 50 was voted on by fans, Seahawk legends, front office staff and Seattle media members. The entire list will be revealed on Friday.
