Northwest Lighted Christmas Parade returns to Lynden this Saturday

LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The first weekend of December is here and that means it’s time for the Northwest Lighted Christmas Parade in Lynden.

Bundle up the family and grab a spot this Saturday, Dec. 6 to take in the holiday glory of lighted cars, trucks, floats, wagons, farm equipment and more.

The parade starts at 6 p.m. at the Fairway Shopping Center and runs east on Front Street through downtown Lynden.

WECU will have free hot chocolate for the first 500 attendees.

Starting at 11 a.m., visitors can check out Elf on the Shelf at downtown Lynden businesses and head over to the Lynden Heritage Museum for photos with Santa Claus until 3 p.m.

There will also be line dancing at Front and 6th starting at 5 p.m.

The parade route will be packed with onlookers, so bring seating and get there early for the best views.
