BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A ramp and a lane will be closed on I-5 this weekend in Bellingham.

WSDOT says there will be a day-long closure for the right lane of NB I-5 at Samish Way starting at 6 a.m. Saturday, May 2 through 8 a.m. Sunday, May 3.

The off-ramp at Lakeway Drive will also be closed at the time, with the off-ramp expected to reopen at 3 p.m. later on Saturday.

Crews will replace some concrete panels in the area and will need to wait for the concrete to cure before reopening.

The closure timeline is subject to change if weather impacts the concrete curing process.
