BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The weather in Whatcom County is forecast to be wet and windy this weekend. Fear not. There are a bunch of fun events happening indoors and we have them all for you in this week’s Lifestyle Lookout.

Fans of film and the great outdoors are in luck. The Rotary Club of Bellingham is hosting MountainFilm on Tour at WCC’s Syre Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The event features 13 inspiring short films about outdoor adventures. Beer, wine and food will be served plus there will be a silent auction for a kayak, e-bikes and getaways.

MountainFilm on Tour runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

If you are looking to dance the night away, the Bellingham Circus Guild (1401 6th St #102) has you covered.

The Rhythm Bells are celebrating ten years of dancing, and you are invited to join in for the party on Saturday night. Attendees can dress in their best cocktail attire, enjoy drinks and dance to the music of The Yeti Chaser Trio.

If you need a refresher, get there early for a dance lesson. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

There are a couple of fun events in Ferndale this weekend.

It’s About Time Cultural Arts Center (2013 Main Street) is hosting The Best Quilt Show with an opening reception on Friday, Nov. 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Best Quilting Show runs through the end of December.

On Saturday, the 26th annual Nordic Fest will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ferndale Events Center (5715 Barrett Rd).

Our featured live show this week is at the Shakedown.

Seattle’s The Jaws of Brooklyn will bring their brand of soul-infused garage rock to the stage on Friday night.
