BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The City of Bellingham has announced more public restrooms are coming to the downtown area.

Construction of two new Portland Loos will happen over the next couple of weeks on Railroad Avenue after the successful installation of one at Waypoint Park in March.

The free-to-use stand-alone restrooms are made to prevent problems found with standard public toilets, with graffiti-proof walls and a crime-deterring open grating design.

The city lists the new restrooms as part of their recent efforts to support a safe and healthy downtown.
