SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man has been arrested in connection to a Skagit County robbery.
Mount Vernon Police say that their investigation began earlier this month after the victim claimed a person pointed a gun at him while he was driving.
The victim told investigators that he recognized the suspect from a separate incident in August, during which he was robbed and threatened with a gun.
Arrest warrants were issued for the 21-year-old suspect, as well as a 19-year-old man who participated in that robbery.
On Friday, the 19-year-old was arrested in Sedro-Woolley with assistance from North Cascades Regional SWAT. The 21-year-old suspect has not yet been found.
Jail bookings show the 19-year-old faces first-degree robbery and unlawful firearm possession charges.
