BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bellingham’s fireworks display is one to remember, as dozens of bright explosions light up the skies and reflect on to Bellingham Bay.

This year’s fireworks show begins at 10:30 p.m. and will be visible from a few different areas around the bay.

Here is a list of spots to watch the fireworks show over Bellingham Bay.

Kulshan Trackside

For the last few years, Kulshan Brewing Company has been serving up fresh local beer at their location on the Bellingham waterfront. This July 4 is no different, with Kulshan hosting live music from The Dusty 45’s and Sanoma.

Admission is free to enter Kulshan Trackside, and food trucks will be onsite serving a variety of options.

Hotel Bellwether

This Fourth of July, the Hotel Bellwether is hosting their event called “Blues, Brews and BBQ” with music by the Chris Eger Band & The Powerhouse Horns.

If you are familiar with where the hotel is, this event will give you a great viewing of the fireworks and plenty of room to dance the night away.

This is a ticket event, and tickets can be purchased here.

Zuanich Point Park, Squalicum Harbor

Zuanich Point Park, located in the Squalicum Harbor, is a great place to watch the fireworks. Starting at 2 p.m., food trucks, activities for the whole family and more will be at the park. Parking in the Squalicum Harbor on days like July 4 can be tough, so we recommend carpooling or riding your bike.

Taylor Dock

Next to one of Bellingham’s most popular parks, Taylor Dock will take you right to the edge of the water on Bellingham Bay and offer a straight view of the fireworks display. Parking in the area could also be crowded due to the holiday, but the view is well worth it.

Remember that this is a dock that people use every day to connect from downtown Bellingham to Fairhaven, so be mindful of those who are walking or biking on Friday.

This Fourth of July, remember to stay safe and enjoy the day. Plenty of places around Bellingham Bay have great views of both the sunset and of the fireworks but remember to check if any city parks or piers are closed by the time the fireworks begin.
