Lifestyle Lookout: Easter events in Bellingham and surrounding areas this weekend

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – This weekend in chock-full of Easter events in Whatcom County and we’ve got a full rundown for you in this week’s Lifestyle Lookout.

Take your kids to the Bellis Fair Mall on Saturday, April 5 for an Easter Egg Hunt. Staff will hide over 12,000 eggs stuffed full of fun prizes. Get there early to grab breakfast in the food court, get photos with the Easter Bunny, and participate in coloring activities.

The Bellis Fair Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. sharp with the mall doors opening at 9:30 a.m. For all the details, go to bellisfair.com.

If you would rather hunt for eggs outside, you are in luck. Bellewood Farms is hosting Celebrate Easter Weekend on Saturday and Sunday. There will be face painting, live music from Queen’s Bluegrass, donuts, tractor rides, Easter egg hunts and a whole lot more.

Celebrate Easter runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. It is a free event. For all the details, go to bellewoodfarms.com.

Up the road a little at the Mount Baker Ski Area, this weekend features the iconic Golden Egg Hunt. On Saturday, skiers and snowboarders can carve up the slopes while searching for a Golden Egg stuffed with a 2026-27 Season Pass. Another Golden Egg will be included in one of the Easter baskets the ski area will give away.

There will also be two Kids Egg Hunts featuring plastic eggs full of prizes on runs more accessible to children.

If Easter Brunch is more your style, head to Chuckanut Bay Distillery on Sunday, Apri 5. Juice, coffee and adult beverages will be served along with carrot cake oatmeal, deviled eggs, tartines and a full breakfast buffet that includes pancake and carvings stations.
