WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Another chance to clear out any old warrants will be offered later this week.

The Whatcom County District Court is holding a Warrant Quash day on Dec. 4. Those interested in attending are asked to arrive between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Anyone who participates will not be taken into custody or have their bail increased. Instead, Judge Jonathan Rands will quash the warrant and set a new court date.

The purpose of Warrant Quash Day is to get a case back on track and attempt to eliminate unnecessary incarceration. The only applicable warrants will be those issued by Whatcom County District Court.

The Warrant Quash Day will take place at the District Court Clerk’s office on the fourth floor of 311 Grand Ave. in Bellingham.

This will be the last warrant quash day scheduled for 2024. The Whatcom County District Court says to call (360) 778-5400 for more information.
