LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – As the ninth annual Whatcom Farm Expo steadily approaches, so does the deadline to apply as an exhibitor.

Over 40 local organizations will be represented at the event and vendors are not allowed to sell anything, only offer information to attendees.

The Whatcom Farm Expo is described by education and outreach manager Aneka Sweeney as a casual resource fair. Attendance is free, open to all ages and welcomes any level of farming experience.

The fair is a resource for anyone from homesteaders to commercial farmers and everything in between. It is geared toward individuals exploring rural landownership or existing farmers seeking network opportunities and expert advice.

Opportunities aren’t limited to educational information—there will be chances to learn about technical and financial assistance in the form of grants, cost shares or rebates.

Anyone interested in applying to be an exhibitor at the 2025 Whatcom Farm Expo is asked to fill out a form by the end of January. The schedule for demonstration workshops and speaker presentations is set to be released by Feb. 1. The Whatcom Farm Expo will take place on Mar. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those interested in becoming an exhibitor can learn more through the Whatcom Farm Expo website and apply using an online application form.
