WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Frosty weather is on the horizon for a large portion of Whatcom County.

The National Weather Service in Seattle (NWS) says that we’ll likely see frost develop on Tuesday morning in western Whatcom County and the San Juans.

Cooler temperatures will settle in following a breezy day on Monday, with calmer winds expected tomorrow.

About 2-4 inches of snow is expected in the higher elevations of the North Cascades through Monday night.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that pre-winterization work is ongoing on the Mount Baker Highway, but no closure dates have been announced for Artist Point or the North Cascades Highway.
