BELLINGHAM WA, (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Downtown Bellingham Partnership is hosting the 10th Annual Spring Wine Walk to kick off Mother’s Day weekend on Friday, May 10 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. 

General check-in is from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Crown Plaza Building at 114 W. Magnolia St. and wineries begin pouring at 5:00 p.m.

VIP check-in is from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Aslan Depot, located at 1322 N. State St. 

Presale tickets are available online at the Downtown Bellingham Partnership website. All attendees must wear a wristband at all times. To receive a wristband, a valid ID must be present at check-in. 

After check-in attendees will receive an event guide with all participating shops and wineries, 10 tasting tickets, a complimentary tasting cup and a Greenhouse tote bag to conveniently carry any purchases. VIP guests will receive 3 additional tasting tickets and a complimentary glass of wine at Aslan Depot where guests can snack and mingle with other attendees before the event kicks off.  

The Downtown Bellingham Partnership is proud to be working with local shops to support wineries from all around the state for an opportunity to sip and shop locally. Wineries involved in this year’s event include Samson Estates Winery, Lost River Winery, Rain Shadows Cellars, Eternal Wine and Welcome Road Winery to name a few. 

If you like the wine you’re tasting, bottles will be available at all of the tasting rooms for purchase. 

Food options that are featured in this year’s event include most of the downtown Bellingham staples, including Ab Crepes, El Capitan’s, Pye Hole, Saltadena and Sweet as Waffles. Venues will offer light snacks throughout the event as well. 

Bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated and taking the proper safety precautions to return home are highly encouraged.
