City of Bellingham to host Earth Day Recycling Event

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Got old electronics piling up? Sensitive papers you’ve been meaning to shred? Earth Day could be your clean‑out day.

The City of Bellingham is hosting a free Earth Day Recycling Event this Saturday, April 25, inviting residents to drop off hard‑to‑recycle items, all in one stop.

The event runs noon to three in the parking lot of Bellingham Covenant Church on East Bakerview Road.

City crews and community partners will be on hand to shred personal documents, collect electronic waste like TVs and computers, recycle batteries, and accept used athletic shoes for donation or recycling.

Organizers say the goal is to reduce waste and make responsible recycling easy.
