BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The City of Bellingham is hosting an event to discuss its plan for the future of the community.

The city is inviting residents to attend an open house on Thursday, Feb. 22, to learn more about the Bellingham Plan.

The plan is a two-year project that will update the city’s Comprehensive Plan towards growth over the next 20 years.

It addresses key topics like housing, transportation and environmental protection to set goals and policies for the future of Bellingham.

The city says Wednesday’s open house will give residents a chance to voice their opinions and set the stage for future sessions to address those critical issues.

It takes place from 5-7 p.m. at Sehome High School Commons and registration is preferred but not required.

Find more information about how to register on the city’s website and read more about the Bellingham Plan here.
