BRIEF: Teen dies, others injured in roll-over crash in Oak Harbor

OAK HARBOR, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A single-car accident in Oak Harbor left one teenager dead and two others injured Wednesday, April 24.

Washington State Patrol said the vehicle was southbound on Crosby Avenue around 4 p.m. when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and rolled over.

The driver and one passenger, both 16-year-old females, were transported to Whidbey Health where the passenger passed away. The deceased passenger was not wearing their seatbelt.

The second passenger was treated for injuries at the scene of the crash.

Washington State Patrol said speed was a factor in the crash.
