MT. BAKER, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A ton of fresh snow is blanketing the slopes up at Mt. Baker.

The Mount Baker Ski Area got almost three feet of snow over the weekend and an additional nine inches of fresh snow overnight.

There’s currently a 130-inch base at Heather Meadows with 150 inches at the top of Pan Dome.

There’s still a deep snow and tree well advisory in effect. The Mt. Baker Ski Area says skiers and riders should avoid tree wells and keep their partners in sight at all times.

All operations on Tuesday are out of the White Salmon Lodge.
