BRIEF: Protesters in Bellingham join nationwide protest against Trump’s executive orders

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – People in Bellingham joined a nationwide protest on Wednesday against President Trump’s executive orders.

The 50-50-1 movement organized 50 protests that takes place in 50 states on the same day. While protests were scheduled to take place at the capitol of each state, locals showed their support of the protest in downtown Bellingham.

At noon, an estimated 100 protesters marched in downtown Bellingham, gathering at the Federal Building on Magnolia Street.

Posters for the events indicate they are protesting Project 2025 and the Trump administration’s “attempts to destroy our freedoms and human rights.”
