LUMMI ISLAND, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Lummi Island ferry riders will want to plan ahead for a nearly month-long disruption to service.

The Whatcom Chief’s dry dock outage is scheduled for May 18 to June 15. Ferry service will switch to a pedestrian-only vessel during the annual outage.

Public Works said it will update its Dry Dock webpage soon with schedules, parking, passenger-only service, shuttle information and more. Any questions can be sent to the county’s Ferry Division.
