BRIEF: Assault suspect sought by Bellingham police

BELLINGHAM, WA – (MyBellinghamNow.com) Bellingham Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspected of assault.

The department says the suspect was seen on the sidewalk of Holly St. in the early morning hours of Jan. 13. He proceeded to assault someone in a nearby alleyway at around 12:30 a.m.

The victim was punched multiple times before the suspect in question took several items from them, including a pair of white shoes.

Police say the suspect stands between 6’2″ and 6’4″ with brown, shoulder-length hair.

They’re urging anyone who may be able to identify him to contact detectives. You can view surveillance footage of the suspect on the Bellingham Police Department’s Facebook page.
