BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Alaska Airlines is adding a third daily flight from Bellingham to Seattle.

The Port of Bellingham announced that Alaska Airlines will offer the newly expanded service starting Thursday.

The flight is scheduled to depart Bellingham International Airport at 6:59 p.m. and arrive at Sea-Tac Airport at 7:51 p.m. Flights arriving in Bellingham will leave Sea-Tac at 5:30 p.m. and get in at 6:19 p.m.

The addition will give passengers the option for a later flight out of town. Currently, Alaska offers departing flights to Seattle at 5 a.m. and 1:18 p.m.

The Port says adding more options for flights out of Bellingham has been a priority due to strong demand.
