LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A modern country star is coming to Lynden this summer.

The Northwest Washington Fair has announced Brantley Gilbert will grace the Pacific Grandstand stage on Friday, August 21.

Gilbert made a splash onto the country music scene in 2011 with a songwriting collaboration on Jason Aldean’s single “Dirt Road Anthem.”

Since then, he’s racked up awards from the Country Music Association and the American Music Association for hits including “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”

Ticket options for Brantley Gilbert will include a new Party Pit – a standing room only section with a private beer garden right in front of the stage.

The online-only presale goes live on Wednesday morning, with public tickets available starting at 9 a.m. on Friday at the fair’s website.
