BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) Looking to drink some beers for a great cause?

Boundary Bay Brewery is releasing their Wave Breaker Pale Ale and a portion of the proceeds from the beer will go to the local nonprofit Bellingham Youth Paddlesports to encourage the next generation of paddlers.

Wave Breaker is a tribute to the legacy of Peter Marcus, a leader in the greater Bellingham paddling community who passed away a year ago.

Marcus is credited with starting the Paddle4Food Relay, the Rough Water Race, chairing the sea kayak leg of the Ski to Sea Race, and volunteering with Youth Paddlesports.

The beer is available at Boundary Bay on tap and in kegs for a limited time.
