BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A suspect is still on the loose following a robbery at knifepoint on Tuesday night.

Bellingham Police spokesperson Claudia Murphy says that officers were called to a report of a robbery at the 100 block of N. Samish Way a little before 6:30 p.m.

According to the victim, he was behind an establishment at the time when the suspect, described as a white male in his 30’s, approached him and began to talk to him. The victim then reported to officers that he had been threatened with a knife and the suspect had demanded property from him.

Frightened, the victim gave up the property and the suspect fled.

Murphy says no suspect has been identified at this time and the victim was left uninjured.
