Bellingham Police arrest Meridian robbery suspect

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man was arrested in connection to a strong arm robbery in Bellingham Tuesday afternoon.

A report reached the Bellingham Police Department a little after 2:15 p.m. of an ongoing robbery on the 4000 block of Meridian Street. Police say that despite reaching the scene within minutes, the suspect had since fled the area.

BPD doesn’t believe the suspect, identified as a 32-year-old man, was able to get away with anything.

The suspect was booked into the Whatcom County Jail just after 6 pm.
