Bellingham offers grant money for neighborhood improvements

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Can you think of any improvements you’d like to see in your neighborhood?

The City of Bellingham is now accepting applications for its 2024 Small and Simple Grants program. The program offers up to $10,000 in funding for neighborhood-led projects that fall under three categories: communications and connections, neighborhood signs and tree planting.

All city-recognized neighborhood associations in Bellingham are eligible to apply. Each neighborhood can submit up to two grant applications of up to $5,000 each.

Applications are due by May 31. The winners are expected to be announced in June.
