Bellingham man sentenced for DUI fatality crash

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Bellingham man who killed another man in a DUI crash has been sentenced.

37-year-old Jacob Seville was sentenced last Tuesday, May 7 to six and a half years in prison and a year and a half of community custody, according to court documents.

Seville was intoxicated when his pickup truck jumped a curb on Lakeway Drive on September 10, 2022, hitting and killing 42-year-old Joseph Beadles on the sidewalk.

Seville’s BAC was 0.19 at the time of the crash, over twice the legal limit.

He was transferred into Department of Corrections custody to begin his sentence on Tuesday, May 14.
