BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Another Whatcom County brewery is planning an expansion in 2025.

Beach Cat Brewing in Birch Bay said in their most recent newsletter that they’ll be opening a second location in downtown Bellingham later this year.

Additional details on the exact location and a possible opening date will be revealed in the near future.

Beach Cat’s beers include three that received silver or bronze medals at the Washington Beer Awards just a few months ago.

It comes on the heels of Stemma Brewing Company announcing their acquisition of the Twin Sisters Brewery property.
