WWU volleyball opens regional tourney with a win

The Western Viking women’s volleyball team won it’s first-round match at the West Regional Tournament Thursday night. The Vikings, playing on their home floor at Carver Gym as the tournament’s #1 seed, swept Cal State East Bay in straight sets.

Western moves on the the semi-finals Friday night against Cal Poly Pomona at 7:30.
