UPDATE: Woman killed by train in Bellingham identified

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The woman who committed suicide by sitting in front of a train in Bellingham Monday night has been identified.

The Whatcom County medical examiner said Jeni Lynn Studer was 37 years old.

Her last known address was near Everson.

Studer died after an Amtrak Train hit her as she sat on the tracks.
