BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The property tax due date has been extended to June 1st.
Whatcom County Treasurer Steve Oliver signed an order extending the first half property tax due date for individual and commercial taxpayers that pay taxes themselves.
But Treasurer Oliver says those who can pay property taxes before the original April 30 deadline, should do so.
The Treasurer’s Office is also offering a new payment plan option and they announced that foreclosures are suspended until 2021.
