BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Travel between Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point will be a bit more complicated starting Saturday.
The Whatcom Chief vehicle ferry departs for its annual dry dock mid-morning Saturday and will return to its regular schedule September 24th.
During the dry dock, foot passenger-only ferry service will be provided and a passenger shuttle van will run on Lummi Island.
Ferry vehicle parking will continue to be available in the existing designated areas.
More information is available on the Whatcom County Ferry website.
