Western men lose tourney opener in Hawaii

The Western Viking men’s basketball team lost to 20th-ranked Chaminade Sunday night 74-66 at the D2 Power Invitational in Honolulu.  Junior forward Trevor Jasinsky had 17 points and 14 rebounds in the loss for the Vikings.  Sophomore Luke Lovelady also had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Western continues play in Hawaii Monday afternoon taking on Southern Nazarene of Oklahoma at 3:15 Pacific time.
