BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Parents of Bellingham High School students got another message about a bomb threat from the school Friday.

“This is principal Linda Miller. I wanted to update you on the bomb threat. Thanks to the Bellingham Police, we have determined the threat was a prank, and are taking appropriate actions.”

Bellingham police say they found the kids responsible and turned the case over to the prosecutor’s office.

It doesn’t appear that many parents kept their kids at home after receiving the initial call about the threat on Thursday.

The district says the number of Bellingham High students absent Friday is about the same as the last few Fridays.
