SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — What started as a domestic incident led to a brief lockdown of United General Hospital and the arrest of a Sedro-Woolley man Tuesday night.

Officers responded to a call around 11pm reporting a family member was armed with a handgun and making threats to others, including a specific statement about shooting officers.

Despite assistance from the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office drone and a Mount Vernon PD K9 unit, officers were unable to locate 27-year-old Isaac Stargel.

Officers received information that Stargel was possibly in the United General Hospital area.

The hospital went into lockdown while officers responded and located Stargel, who is a convicted felon with four prior convictions on drug and burglary charges.

Stargel was arrested without incident and booked into Skagit County Jail without bail on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and harassment.
