Two county football teams advance to state semi-finals

In High School football playoffs Saturday, Lynden Christian defeated Hoquiam 46-6 and will advance to the state semi-finals next week. Lynden beat Tumwater, 28-27 and will also advance to the the state semi-finals.

Meridian lost to Colville, 42-22 ending their season as did Mt. Baker who lost to three-time defending state champion, Royal, 55-6.
