BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The scheduled Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s basketball game on Tuesday evening between Western Washington University and Simon Fraser University has been postponed due to the inclement weather in Bellingham and Burnaby, BC.

The game was scheduled for a 7 pm tip-off in West Gym on the SFU campus, but both schools canceled classes and university services on Tuesday due to the heavy accumulation of snow and adverse weather conditions in the area. The decision was made early Tuesday morning after a conference call with officials from both schools and the league office with student-athlete and fan safety the main concern.

Officials from both schools and the GNAC have confirmed the game will now be played during the final week of the 2018-19 regular season on Tuesday, February 26 at 7 pm on the Simon Fraser University campus in West Gym.
