Swinomish tribe opens new addiction treatment center

ANACORTES, Wash. – The Swinomish tribe has a new addiction treatment center.

The Didgwalic Wellness Center had their grand opening on Wednesday.

The Skagit Valley Herald reported the tribe plans on expanding the treatment program and offering it to the general public for the first time.

When the outpatient clinic opens, it will be the largest medication-assisted treatment facility in the county.
