State Tournament scores from Thursday

The defending state champion Lynden Christian boys suffered their first loss of the season Thursday at the State Tournament in Yakima. They fell to Kings 73-50. They will play Seattle Academy Friday at 12:15pm in a loser-out game. 

The Lynden Christian girls beat Elma 55-25. The Lyncs will take on Medical Lake Friday at 5:30pm in the semi-finals. Medical Lake got there by beating Meridian 41-33. Now Meridian will battle Elma in a loser-out game Friday at 10:30am.

The Lynden boys defeated Columbia River 52-40. They will move on to play Pullman Friday at 3:45pm in the semi-finals.

The Lynden girls lost to East Valley 52-42 and will play against Port Angeles Friday at 12:15pm in a loser-out game.
